Spotted Pig

So I apparently have not figured out the perfect blogging/graduate school balance. I'm pretty sure that it's almost impossible but I'm going to keep trying to figure out a way to post all my culinary adventures in this big city while in school. I just wanted to say thanks for sticking with me and sorry for the irregular posting!

Spotted Pig is my home away from home...my Northern California in New York City. Let me just say that the food is memorable and inventive. If you are ever in NYC, go here.

What to order: The burger (and everything else on the menu)
Warning: They don't take reservations, there usually is a wait, and the tables are super close to each other.
Honorable Mention: The Breslin @ the Ace Hotel

 {Special: Grape Salad wtih Tarragon and Young Goat Cheese}
 {Burger with Roquefort Cheese and Shoestring Rosemary Garlic Fries}
{Corned Beef Hash with Perfectly Poached Eggs}

The Spotted Pig
314 West 11th Street
West Village, NYC

  2. Oh yes, I'll be there when I'm in NYC. I hope you still have time to manage posting once in a while. I really enjoy what you discover and share. Like this one, I totally want to go. Love the Corned Beef Hash (yeah the egg is perfect!) and those french fries!!!! I can instantly gain 2 lbs there.
