Hester Street Fair

Sweetlilpiggy recently gave East West Eats a 'Versatile Blogger Award' so I wanted to say thanks!! and to share 7 things about myself that you all might not here it goes:

1. I used to play the violin. A lot. I stopped once I started rowing in high school but still have a love for music.
2. I'm obsessed with breakfast sandwiches. I could eat them every day and not get sick of them.
3. I have the world's tiniest kitchen. I thought I had a small one in my previous apartment but little did I know that I was living large back then. I'm pretty sure that the 'Friends' apartment was a cruel joke because large living space does not exist in NYC.
4. I'm 6'0"tall. And sometimes I say that I'm 5'12" because I think 6'0" sounds huge. I've learned to embrace my height though.
5. I'm almost finished with my masters degree in ID/Autism. I will *cross my fingers* be done in May and then I will have to decide whether to stay in NYC or go back to San Francisco.
6. I'm currently obsessed with my N.A.P. blanket. I got it for my birthday and it is probably my favorite thing ever. Go get one. Now.
7. I'm really bad at freezing food. I don't know how to defrost it and therefore feel like an idiot. Any recommendations/tips are welcome.

I welcome you to all play along and write 7 fun facts about yourselves in the comment section below. I love learning about you guys!

Now, onto the food. We'll I'm actually going to let the pictures speak for themselves on this post. I went to the Hester Street Fair on the Lower East Side a few weeks ago. While it was small, everything was delicious. I definitely recommend checking it out!

  3. I thought of sharing 7 things about me, but I just can't think of any (I shared a lot in the past, too)...but one thing: I'm 5 feet (no cheating, exact 5) and I'm having opposite issue from you! I think Tokyo and NYC apartment is probably similar. I think Tokyo apartment is too small for big/tall Americans! That small... Kitchen is so tiny (really tiny) and laundry machine is underneath. It can be high tech but just too small. We have to be a miniature. I hope you will come back to SF! ;-) Weather is nice~~~~. ;-) Thanks for sharing about you and by the way, the food photos were too good that I'm so craving for street fair food!
