Red Fish, Blue Fish

I am loving my trip back West. I have eaten many homemade meals, a must when I go home, but have also tried out some great restaurants.

On Friday, my mom and I took the ferry up to Victoria, B.C. We went ziplining in Sooke and had a blast. I'm afraid of heights but took the plunge. It was so fun! If you ever have the chance, don't think and just do it!

After our day of adrenaline, we were ravenous. We went to a semi-hidden place in downtown Victoria called Red Fish, Blue Fish. It is headed up inside an old shipping container that is located right on the water. All of the food is 100% sustainable and 100% delicious.

My mom got the salmon fish and chips while I got the fish sloppy joe. I had decided on the seared tuna sandwich but when I read the description of the sloppy joe (golden shallot aioli, tartar, dill pickle, lemon pickled onions), I changed my mind. All of the flavors and textured made this my favorite meal of the day. Why has no one ever thought of making fish sloppy joes before? People, it's a genius idea.

Anyways, I would really suggest going here if you're in Victoria. The food was fresh and the location is great. Two {big} thumbs up!
