What did I see? Dozens of cupcakes, pies, pudding, and a coffee bar. Each description card was handwritten and all of the flavors had my mouth watering. While I was looking around, I couldn't help but think that it kind of looked like a Hollywood movie set. I think that it might have to do with the location on Prince Street but then again, West Village also reminds me of a movie set.
Back to the food. G got a fruity pebble treat (like a rice krispy treat) which was good but not as good as what I got. Usually, I choose the best desserts when we go out. I like to think of it as a gift. What did I get? My friends, I have found the best combination of cake EVER. I got a big ol' piece of nutella banana chocolate chip cake. Oh yes, I went there. (True story: we actually left with only the fruity pebble treat first and then had to come back because I couldn't stop thinking about wanting to try the cake)
It was super super moist on the inside, almost like the center of undercooked gooey cookies but it was definitely full-cooked. The nutella made up the icing. It was good but I love nutella, so I wish that there was way more. I know what my birthday cake is going to be this year! Mmmm mmm, thanks LCB!
